Problem Note 68293: Canceling the metadata credentials prompt in SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office might not prevent additional prompts

When you are prompted for metadata credentials in SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, an exception might occur or continued prompts for metadata credentials might appear:

The connection to the SAS Metadata Server has been lost. To attempt to
reconnect, select Connections from the SAS->Tools menu and choose a profile. If
this problem persists, please contact your site administrator.

Beginning in SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 8.0, canceling the metadata credentials prompt cancels the action that requires metadata credentials. In addition, the active connection profile becomes do not use a profile.
